Fanny acquired an abundance of corporate entertainment and administrative management experience throughout her 20+ year career working in a marketing capacity at both Warner Bros. and Disney. She soon gained the reputation of being the “go-to” person because of her attention-to-detail and “can do” attitude. Her skills further evolving into the human resource sector when she accepted a position at the actors union SAG-AFTRA.

Fanny was appointed as Director of Operations for Stop Poaching Now! a Los Angeles based non-profit dedicated to the conservation of Africa’s endangered wildlife. She’s currently an advisory board member and a valuable contributor bringing awareness to the cause.

Fanny’s entrepreneurship goals led her into self-employment in consultancy within several sectors on her spare time. In 2014 she began her travel journey into Africa and mostly spent half a year in Africa and the other in the USA for years to come.

What started off as an organizer of humanitarian projects for East Africa, developed into a passion for the tourism sector specifically in Uganda. Her initiative is in partnership with Piccolo Books and under the hashtag #ProjectBuildSomething.

Fanny has visited nearly all sides of Uganda on her quest to explore, learn, and develop branding opportunities for the country via her travel blog/ consultancy services and broad network. Other African countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana are on future plans of the same exploration.

While in 2018, Fanny semi-moved to Uganda to explore opportunities within the tourism and wildlife conservation sector. She accepted a short contract with Chimpanzee Trust (one of her favorite places to visit Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary) as their acting Business Development Manager which has since ended. She remains a long term volunteer for this organization and others like the African Primatological Society. 

Fanny is a fun and ambitious business lady with a focus on tourism growth in Africa and the endless opportunities available in the investment pool of implementing concepts and new ideas.

In 2019, Fanny founded the marketing initiatives behind Back to the Source Tours with its first project taking place in Uganda with sponsors like Uganda Tourism Board, Uganda Wildlife Authority and several other private sector tourism stakeholders.
